Spaceship Wreck Yard by M-Wojtala Spaceship Wreck Yard by M-Wojtala
I wanted to visualize the idea of an environment covered with old spaceship wrecks, being absorbed by nature and decaying for many years. Personal project.

Thank you all for this positive feedback! I owe you one! I've seen some of you wanted to know more so I wanted to share the steps of Wreck Yard's creation with you- please follow to my blog at [link]

Phenomenal. Absolutely Phenomenal. The textures and naturalness of the scene correspond with and yet at the same time against the ancient technology. You've definitely gotten a watch from me. Great work. Keep it up!

nature has taken over, now imagine a whole society living there basing their entire culture on this wreck.

Awesome concept, like a space battle took place thousands of years ago and a mass of wreckage crashed and has been reclaimed. I would love to go exploring the old wrecks for ghosts. I bet they have some stories to tell.

Reminds me of a cross between the ship thing from Prometheus and the Space Pirate frigate crash site from Metroid Prime I.

Great great great!!! but I disagree on one point. The fact that it is absorbed by nature doesn't mean it is decaying. Nature could be quiet a good camouflage. I fave!

I am speechless, this is by far one of the best environment concepts I've seen to date!

Now there's a cool picture!
I always regard the idea of our mess being overcome and natures beauty resurging with a kind of hopefullness. I'd never thought of a sci-fi version for some reason though, great idea and well done =)
